- He supported Eurima at the ‘Keep Warm, Stay Cool, Insulate!’ event during EU Sustainable Energy Week 2008
- Bob the Builder presented previous Commissioner Margot Wallström with Eurima’s report ‘Better Buildings through Energy Efficiency - A Roadmap for Europe’
- When an EU Energy Efficiency action plan was launched in 2006, Bob the Builder showed primary school children the energy efficiency potential of their school and how it could be improved
- Bob the Builder visited Luxembourg and Brussels in June 2006 to launch a report on the ‘Sensitivity Analysis of Cost Effective Climate Protection in the EU Building Stock’, encouraging European leaders to improve energy efficiency and save Europe €270 billion per year in energy costs
